The big idea behind setting up this blog is to demonstrate some interesting ideas using data in sport. My background is in teaching Mathematics and then also in sports trading.

I have been able to use the mathematical side of my character and hopefully bring it to life with words and presentation. I hope that you find something to enjoy and something useful here.

Just want to give a shout out to Andy Watson. During my EFL research it’s incredibly valuable to tap into the vast knowledge and pin-point insight of people like Andy.
